Biography
Introduction. Professor Dr. Mohammad Monzur-E-Elahi is at once a researcher, educator, Islamic scholar, and author — and also a da'i ilallah (caller to Allah) and a well-known media personality. He is widely recognised both nationally and internationally through his Islamic research, da'wah work, and discussions on TV and YouTube channels. He currently serves as a Professor in the Department of Islamic Studies at the National University of Bangladesh.
Since 2004, he has been contributing to Islamic discussions, Q&A sessions and presentations on various national and international television channels. He has delivered scholarly lectures and seminars at universities in Bangladesh and abroad, and at many international Islamic centres and cultural centres.
To spread authentic and objective knowledge among Bangla-speaking audiences, he founded Taibah Academy, the Imam Bukhari Complex/Trust, and Kulliyatul Quran al-Karim wad-Dirasat al-Islamiyyah.
Educational Background. Professor Dr. Mohammad Monzur-E-Elahi was admitted to the Faculty of Shariah at the Islamic University of Madinah in 1988, where he completed his Bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D. degrees with great distinction. He is the first Bangladeshi to earn a Ph.D. from the Islamic University of Madinah.
